Taryn Kerian sat alone in the tiny craft she had found, drifting among the stars, at a leisurely pace. She had repaired the hole in the hull and was heading towards what would could call "Civilized" space..although, it was more rag-tag than anything, and she was at least a thousand kilometers away from where she wanted to go, and so, she turned to her musings. It was almost romantic, in a way, to be alone in space like this, she thought, but romance was far beyond the woman that had lived over three hundred years. She had no mind for it, for she would simply outlive any lover she fancied. She keyed the communications button on the small-craft's console.
"Greetings, salutations, and happy..whatever day it is, to all the galaxies inhabitations. I, am Taryn Kerian. Unmistakably alive after nearly three centuries in space, some may know me as the Great Menace, The Red Wind, or as i was once called, the Great Conquerer, or perhaps, the most amusing of all the names, "That fucking cyborg bitch.". I return once again, to do what i wish..and trust me, i believe i can help with your problem with the Baalites."

Taryn's face flickers with a smile as the message appears. "How hilarious. Thinking they can actually command me around, how disappointing that the degenerates of the Brotherhood still exist." she says, but decides to entertain the pitiful people of the Brotherhood, after all, there were mere mortals.
The computer was fairly insecure, nothing that Taryn could not have fixed, but the ship was disposable. Easily so.
Taryn, was not.

Ms. Kerian, This is Rendii Representative Merril, aboard the Gallium Border Outpost, It has come to our attention that you are in fact, the person from three centuries ago who sparked the Rendii Ephebe War if our history is any bit accurate. I must state that while we cannot in any way reasonably punish crimes from three centuries ago, we will be doing well to monitor you any time you are in Rendii space.
With that warning aside, If you do have capabilities to help us and our Confederate allies with our Baalite situation we will pay you handsomely, if it turns out bunk you will receive only quarter of payment for effort.
and if you are within Rendii space at any time, and you come across a Brotherhood ship, capture or destroy it and we will be happy to pay you a decent bounty for the murderous Pirate Scum.
