Another fairly nondescript light long-range fighter. Lightly armed for her mass, this fighter is still cheap and fast enough to deploy en mas for defensive or offensive roles. Standard features include logic controls for engine baffles and landing gear. The Hawk class's engines provide 75 units of thrust, set against the 48 ton mass make it a fairly nimble ship. The twin full-speed rapid fire particle cannons hit for 30 DPS each, and the ship also mounts secondary homing missiles. OOC NOTE: I found that I could not upload the Falcon class fighter that I had created previously, so I built another, better fighter while waiting.

Nice ship, but you're right one of those would be disadvantageous against some of the bigger ships here. A swarm of them however...

the weapons are completely useless against even fighters. I am trashing this ship.

Actually if you want to have a high damage output on shields i recommend making overdriven auto cannons. I have them on my corvette and they take out the shields on most ships really quickly, however they are unable to damage advanced hulls.

My fighter's weapons are matched carefully to the power: Any more power consumption and it would be difficult to use. Fighters this small are just not a threat to anything (even each-other)
