Discovered a station broadcasting an unusual beacon located at (-231, 16, -318) The station called itself "Zeno Station Delta" I wonder if they knew it was spelled "Xeno?" At any rate, it appears to have been trashed, and there is a Baalite base one sector over, so I am not spending long in scouting.

In sector REDACTED I discovered an abandoned hyperspace gate! It was neither claimed, locked, or guarded. I should be able to sell this information for good money!

At sector (redacted) I encountered a sporting young lady by the name of Flandry. She was attempting to homestead a tiny little ball of ice, quite near a baalite base. I was able to fend off at least one attack by a number of nasty customers: She thanked me, and purchased much of the detritus I have been accumulating. My ship is functioning smoothly, except for the point defense turret. I have gotten it to understand that it is supposed to shoot down missiles, but its definition of "missile" is still alarmingly broad.

Sector (-168, 14, -357) I located a battered station broadcasting "Trading Post Beta" Nothing of interest.

Sector (redacted) Yet another functional hyperspace gate, this one somewhat more damaged than the previous one. The range between the two gates I have found is only about 600 km. I suspect that an intact network of gates will be more valuable than any individual one. Perhaps I can even retain possession of them myself, and charge transit fees!

Sector (-161, 14, -398) Discovered some sort of automated factory. It seems to be fairly well stocked. I wonder who built it.

I found a lovely planet! I have decided to name it "Dalliance" It is so pretty I might not mind vacationing here. The location is redacted, because the location is sadly strategic.

Another Planet! I have discovered a second planet within the same system. This one is also habitable, but with significantly more tectonic activity. I still rank it a 6 out of 10. I have named the planet "Formalism" Location classified as well. Addendum: The planet seems quite rich in both the purple colored and white colored ores.

I found a station, also in the system with the two habitable planets. I should specify: I found an enormous, well appointed station, with plenty of facilities, storage, and power. It is well shielded, and has two lovely docking bays that could have been designed for my Trixie! This system is looking better and better, and I am considering laying a broad claim to the entire thing, just to keep anyone else from snapping it up. Now all it needs is a hyperspace gate to connect to my potential network.

((By Flannery do you mean Flandry, as in Sarah Flandry? Because there is no Flannery character atm.

A hard Day: Operating from the new base, named the Eyre, I began investigating local bases in this system, before officially declaring it to be my territory, and I am certainly glad that I did! I discovered no less than seven Baalite installations, only one of which was vulnerable to my fighter's weapons. To top off the day of hard and disappointing effort, I was bitten by some sort of.... creature while exploring another abandoned, (and useless) station in the same system. This may not be a good place to settle after all.

Continuing Difficulties: I have discovered within this system an additional four Baalite bases. In fact, out of the last four stations I have visited, only one was NOT excessively well armed and hostile. This was a medical station, and heavily damaged. Unlike many of the other damaged stations seen recently, this one seems far older. Still, there were some supplies left, which I used to treat that spider bite.

I have discovered a third warpgate, leading to this damnably populous system. This one is not in functional condition, having been put out of commission fairly recently. Still, it is of sufficient size to permit transit of quite large ships, and the cost to get it operational again should be under a million credits.
