In actions around several Baalite stations, The Manticore suffered engine damage. Returning to base, A Baalite cruiser engaged and nearly destroyed her, but the crew managed to keep the ship in the fight long enough for the Legate to arrive and drive off the cruiser. [Post battle image redacted] In following engagements, the new construction frigate Morning Dew and the Legate were both lost to enemy action in or about the Duactin system. Upon replacement of the Dew, the New Frigate the Waterfall Lilly was dispatched to attack a SOB Base scouted earlier. It was a Trap, and both the Lilly and the Leviathan shipyards Flagship were severely damaged and forced to withdraw. A dark day for the Syndicate States.

Triarii Naval Ship "Legate", SN-014
TNS Legate (Service Number 014), lead ship of her class, was lost on 01-16-15 in enemy action with a Baalite cruiser and two Ion frigates in the Duactin system. 27 of her 30 crew were killed in action, including her Head Gunnery Officer. She was replaced by the second ship of her class, TNS Legate II.

All Triarii Conglomerate affiliated entities will be flying flags at half staff for three days.
Crew members of this ship were veterans of the primary Baalite conflict and were hand-chosen by Chancellor Armenov himself. The 27 crew aboard the Legate elected to stay and continue fighting as the ship was going down, allowing Chancellor Armenov, his aide and a Petty Officer to escape. This act of conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the cost of their own lives beyond the call of duty reflects the highest traditions of the Triarii Naval Force and the Syndicate States as a whole. The 27 crew members who perished aboard the TNS Legate will posthumously be awarded the Order of the Steel Cross, the highest military or civilian honor able to be bestowed in the Triarii State.
With the ships reactors overloading, the command room venting atmosphere and the Servants of Baal closing in, Captain Richard Sharlow, acting commander of the Legate, ordered forward torpedo bays loaded and fired and spoke one final sentence over the radio.
"La Garde meurt mais ne se rend pas," an age old French declaration meaning "The Guard dies but does not surrender."

The Archangel was indeed damaged in the confrontation. The 4th tertiary thruster engine suffered a torpedo hit, as did the observation deck. Critical systems and crew did not suffer damage or injury. The shielding was taken down quickly by a confrontation of multiple SoB Ion and torpedo frigates. The incident happened when Archangel and Waterfall Lily attacked a seemingly abandoned SoB fighter base, only to be ambushed by a fleet of at least 15 frigates and multiple escorts.
Damages to the Archangel consist of the 4th tertiary thruster, the observation deck and slight damage to the 2nd tertiary thruster and CHECKMATE. The Archangel was able to warp back to Charlie station and is currently docked there. Engineers are currently debating whether to repair the ship or mothball it and focus on a different construction methodology; a line of smaller, more agile, cheaper vessels instead of a massive warship.
